Cavaliers of Mars is a swashbuckling roleplaying game and adventure setting from Rose Bailey, longtime developer of Vampire: The Requiem and other World of Darkness titles. Cavaliers draws inspiration from pulp fantasy and historical fiction, adding a modern edge and an exotic setting. Cavaliers of Mars is powered by the DEIMOS system, in which a hero’s motivations and approach to problems strongly influence her chance of success. In combat, heroes face off with their enemies in contests of tactics and chance.

This is the final update for 2020 - and, likely, the final update for this campaign!
The biggest news for Cavaliers of Mars in 2020 was the release of City of the Towered Tombs, the final project that you enabled with your support during the kickstarter campaign!
And, with that, we've now fulfilled the entire slate of rewards from this kickstarter campaign.
That's it! That's all of our rewards, now sitting on your harddrive or on your digital shelf at DriveThruRPG.com or alongside your roleplaying books in your game shelf. Which means, unless there's any exciting new products launched for Cavaliers of Mars, this will likely be the final update for this that this will be the final update for this project. The updates noted above have instructions about any rewards or issues that may be lingering. Of course, at this point, I assume that everything has worked out otherwise I'd have heard about it by now.
While I'm happy to have completed this campaign, that doesn't mean I'm going anywhere!. If there are any issues that haven't been sorted, you can still contact me!
To say this year was challenging would be an understatement. Despite difficult, uncertainty, and demanding situations, the Onyx Path team continued to work on the great projects that have made us fans. It wasn't easy - schedules shifted, delays managed, and difficulties dealt with - but here we are at the end of 2020 with some victories to show!
Kickstarter continues to be an important part of the process for Onyx Path, and looking at the long list of projects in the works on the Monday Meeting Notes blog, it certainly looks like that’ll continue to be the case in 2021.
Rather than just take pre-order for an upcoming project, Kickstarter has allowed Onyx Path to gauge interest in game lines (to see if they should develop additional projects beyond those offered during the campaign), and sometimes even add additional projects to a game line immediately via Stretch Goal achievements. More importantly, it’s a chance to interact with the community and for everyone to get involved from the earliest stages.
Looking at 2020, Onyx Path had 7 Kickstarter campaigns funded, with one more currently on the go!
And, though the campaign still has a few days to go, the recent Dead Man's Rust mega-adventure and setting supplement for Scarred Lands 5th Edition has funded, which means it will get added to the list soon!

This is the first version of the City of the Towered Tombs to be released. We've sent you this initial Backer PDF for a few reasons:
1) To thank you for your support and patience! You helped launch this game and bring this into the world, and you deserve to see it first!
2) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, let's start this errata and correction process!

Generally, we try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, so please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.
We won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form. Please note this form will be for errata only - typos, incorrect math, page elements that overlap incorrectly, etc. It won't be for book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.
Also, they already know about the Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the game a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

Believe it or not, it's time for another month end update! I held off as long as possible to see if we'd get a surprise, but still a few eyes to cross and teas to make. Or something, I'm trying to invent a new expression.
Obviously, any schedule that Onyx Path had at the beginning of the year as been massively altered, pushed back and warped by pandemics and resulting shutdowns, new social distancing requirements at workplaces, infrastructure adaptations as the world changed, and everyone dealing with their own personal challenges from suddenly working from home, or not working at all, or adjusting to sharing home offices, or homeschooling, or keeping tabs on wildfires, or...
Well, it goes on, doesn't it. Which is preamble to the main point: that final Stretch Goal reward for this project is still in progress, though that progress is much slower than any of us would like, I'm sure. It's so close to the finish line, but we just need a few things to line up so that everyone can finally sign off and get it out to you. So close, but not quite yet. But we'll get there!

The journey has not yet ended, but I think we're getting closer and closer to the finish line! Here's our regular month end update!
Our final reward is still in the proofing stage, the last stop to make sure it's all ready before it gets delivered to you. I can't tell you how eager I am to have this final reward out and this campaign completed. It's been a marathon, for sure! But, we're getting close! We can't quite see the finish line, but we can hear the crowd cheering from up around a few more corners...

Scion: Demigod continues the path set down by Scion: Origin and Scion: Hero, expanding Scion Second Edition’s power level and charting the next level of power tiers for the Scions of the Gods. Players will take their characters through a tightly designed yet flexible story arc that ends in apotheosis or death – either way, the character will no longer be mortal after this book. Your characters don’t have to follow every Milestone with their Deeds — but they cannot run from their destiny once they’ve chosen to embrace it.
