Cavaliers of Mars is a swashbuckling roleplaying game and adventure setting from Rose Bailey, longtime developer of Vampire: The Requiem and other World of Darkness titles. Cavaliers draws inspiration from pulp fantasy and historical fiction, adding a modern edge and an exotic setting. Cavaliers of Mars is powered by the DEIMOS system, in which a hero’s motivations and approach to problems strongly influence her chance of success. In combat, heroes face off with their enemies in contests of tactics and chance.

Hello Cavalier Community,
Looking back at our initial campaign, we had the estimated delivery for the Cavaliers of Mars hardcover book set to October 2019. As we talked about at the time, we had built in room for any issues or problems that would come up, and hoped to actually deliver sooner.
Well, we'll probably be sooner. Like, almost a year, is what I'm thinking. Because we're still in 2018 and I'm getting ready to start locking in information in anticipation of shipping in the next 6-8 weeks.

Another digital reward is getting sent out today: the digital postcard for Chiaro, one of the six cities we voted for during the Kickstarter Campaign. Check your e-mail or follow instructions below to claim your digital postcard, which should now be available in your BackerKit Digital Downloads collection, if it was included in your list of rewards for this campaign.
You should be receiving an e-mail with the BackerKit link, or the easiest way to see if you've got digital downloads available is to login to your backerkit account: https://cavaliers-of-mars.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards and it'll show anything available. Your backerkit account should also confirm all rewards that you should expect from your reward tier selected.
SURVEY REVIEW & LOCKDOWN
Even more importantly, I ask that everyone reviews their BackerKit survey to confirm rewards and lock in information. Information below on how to access your Survey again, but key follow-up steps are:
1. CONFIRM REWARDS - I'll be locking down all Reward Lists, so if you wanted to add any additional rewards, please do so by SEPTEMBER 8th, 2018. In three weeks time, I will lock down all reward lists and you won't be able to adjust or add anything after that time.
2. CONFIRM ALL PAYMENT INFORMATION - For any additions you made in BackerKit, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed by SEPTEMBER 15th, 2018. In four weeks time, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down all outstanding payments.
3. CONFIRM SHIPPING INFORMATION - Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for October 2018. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by SEPTEMBER 28th, 2018. In six weeks time, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners.
ADDRESS CONFIRMATION & DELIVERY OBLIGATIONS.
Consider this the six week warning to update your information, after which point, you agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your order as entered into our pledge manager system to the address listed in BackerKit, that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment, and you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. Failure to confirm mailing address prior to September 28, 2018 will be taken as agreement that all obligations have been met and no further action or effort is required on the part of Onyx Path.
(Of course, if you're getting digital rewards only, you don't need to worry about your address. This is just for the physical book and screen).
SHIPPING UPDATE TO COME
This is all in anticipation of shipping in the upcoming months. I will send another update when the books are actually ready to go and will begin shipping, but we need to have this information locked down prior to that stage. If you find yourself in an unusual circumstance or your residence unexpectedly changes between September 28th and the date I send out the shipping update, contact me to see what I can do at that time.

AT PRESS Onyx Path's Monday latest Meeting Notes shows the Cavaliers of Mars core book and Cavaliers of Mars Game Master Screen both marked "At Press," which is the process of submitting the project to the printer, reviewing sample "proof" copies to ensure everything is printing correctly, making any needed corrections, approving any new "proof" copies after changes have been made, and eventually scheduling the print run. So, still several steps to go... but we're getting closer!

Final Hours of Fetch Quest
I did want to touch base while there's still a few hours left in the latest Onyx Path kickstarter campaign for the Fetch Quest card game.
Fetch Quest is a family-friendly cooperative deck-building game. Each player represents a pioneer on a dangerous quest. The pioneers work together to overcome dangerous challenges and resolve missions. Once the missions are resolved, the quest is finished and the players win the game. We're running this Kickstarter to get additional new art for the cards and get the project printed in a form we can put into stores.

Welcome to June! Obviously, the biggest update since last month is the fact that the first Backer PDF version of Cavaliers of Mars has gone out to Kickstarter Backers. We're compiling your errata and updates in preparation for finalizing the file for print. That'll still take some time, but this is a huge first step.

The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.

FIRST BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first version of the Cavaliers of Mars core rules to be released. Note that there is still an Index and a Auto-Calculating Character sheet to come in further updates. We've sent you this initial Backer PDF for three reasons:
1) To thank you for your support! You helped bring this game into the world, and you deserve to see it first!
2) So you can start playing! These are the actual Core rules - this is the Cavaliers of Mars roleplaying game! It's time to begin your journey to Mars!
3) Make the final version as good as it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
